Maintenance analysis

A good maintenance analysis takes into account some fundamental data such as:

• Lubricating oil analysis, which allows us to determine the quality of combustion, considering the carbon residue present in the lubrication circuit, and to identify any oil contamination by metals and suspended particles.
• Conductivity analysis of the cooling circuit, which allows us to detect any contamination of the cooling circuit from the seawater circuit.
• Borescopic inspection of exchangers and ducts, both for exhaust and intake, which allows us to assess the efficiency of the valves and any signs of corrosion.
• ECU electronic diagnosis, which helps to identify the history of the engine, the actual running hours, and all past malfunctions over the years.
• Compression test, which allows us to determine the actual wear condition of the cylinder-piston system by identifying any wear that could compromise the efficiency and performance of the engine.
• Thermographic analysis is a fundamental service we offer to monitor the health status of engines by observing the components of the system in operation and checking their thermal behavior.
